Just Like Home Respite Care provides temporary in-home relief for caregivers of loved ones. We know and understand the requirements, commitment, and dedication it takes to properly care for someone you love. Being a caregiver can be a rewarding and humbling experience, but we know it can also be very taxing and stressful. It leaves no time and energy for other areas of your life and leaving other personal roles unfulfilled. That is where Just Like Home comes in to fill those gaps so you can have time for you. Time to reenergize, recharge, and reset! Whether caring for a disabled child, a sibling, or aging parents, you need and deserve support. Who We Are

Our Founder

Ursula Saunders has spent her life serving others. She has 8 years as a care provider and 25 years in hospitality. She also volunteers with United Way and other nonprofits. A native of Alabama, Ursula is a wife and mother of four adult children who puts family second only to God. She believes serving others is a gift, and her love, care, and compassion drive the work of Just Like Home Respite Care. Her passion is guided by 1 Peter 4:9–10 (KJV): “Use hospitality one to another without grudging... as every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another.”

Our Services

Basic Relief Care

Our Basic Care services provide essential daily relief to care givers. Our care providers assist with personal needs such as bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Our primary focus is to ensure that you have the peace of mind you deserve, while leaving your loved ones with one of our care providers.
Memory Relief Care

Our Care Providers will assist in providing compassionate service to your loved one living with Alzheimer, Dementia, or any other memory challenges. Our Care Providers create a safe, structured, and engaging environment while assisting with daily needs like bathing, dressing, meals, and medication reminders. With a focus on dignity and quality of life, we offer personalized care that brings comfort and peace of mind to both care givers and their families.
Overnight Relief Care

Overnight respite that restores sleep and peace of mind.
When around-the-clock caregiving becomes unsustainable, Just Like Home Respite Care offers discreet, professional overnight support so you can rest and return refreshed. Our trained, experienced caregivers are matched to each family and provide compassionate personal care and safety monitoring while honoring routines and dignity.
